About Saturn

When you actually sit behind a Saturn and experience its performance - only then will you realize just how incredible your playing can sound.

The drum artisans at Mapex match the finest, thinest plies of North American Maple with a selection of dark, rich Walnut. The result is a beautifully hand crafted drum with a remarkably wide tonal range.

The Saturn is exacting enough for any and all studio applications and has been thoroughly raod tested by nearly every professional artist on the Mapex roster.

The Mapex Saturn is essentially two shells in one, the outer 4 plies of North American Maple perfectly compliment the inner 2 ply 'shell' of exotic walnut, creating a sound with a lot of warmth and depth but with the edge and clarity of maple. All the toms feature 2.3mm power hoops and Mapex's Isolated Tom System as standard.

What Do I Get For My Money

The Saturn series is sold as a shell pack which means the price does NOT include the hardware or cymbals or snare drum.

Fusion shell packs DO NOT contain a snare drum.

The price does include:
