About Starclassic Performer BB

The distinct and traditional Birch sound, enjoyed for over thirty years, has reached a new plateau. By using Bubinga wood for the inner layer of the Birch shell, TAMA has created a new chapter in the Starclassic series. This mixture of Birch and Bubinga has borne a new sound with a sweeter and deeper hybrid tone, which exhibits the focused attack of Birch paired with the enhanced lows of Bubinga. TAMA's newly developed tom-holder provides you with excellent setting flexibility.

Colour Options

A musician's desire to express him or herself is not limited to drum size and sound. The aesthetics they choose for their set is also an extension of who they are. The Starclassic Performer BB is available in a wide variety of different colour options.

The standard Performer BB kit is available in 6 high gloss lacquer finish, four with a wood grain finish and two with a sparkle finish.

The EFX wrap finish kit is available with 6 different patterns for the covering sheet. Tama have lined up five different sparkling Glass Glitter finishes as well as a vintage White silk covering.

These choices, in concert with the drums themselves, allow you customize your equipment and set it apart from any other.
