About Club Jordan Cocktail Kit

The Club Jordan Cocktail Drum System, developed in collaboration with top Yamaha drummer Steve Jordan is a modern version of the 1950s cocktail kit. The system is compact and versatile, perfect for situations where you're squeezed for space. But Club Jordan is more than just a compact kit; it's also visually striking, allowing the drummer to stand up like a percussionist, or come to the front of the stage and be seen. Many drummers also find the Club Jordan is great in the studio for creating subtly unusual timbres and grooves.

The main 15"x24" birch and Philippine mahogany shell acts as a bass drum below and a snare drum on top. Snare wires under the top head are adjustable to accommodate different playing styles. Meanwhile, the special chain-driven reversed foot pedal is anchored to the drum's legs for stability, allowing you to play your trickiest bass drum beats without fear. The bottom 'bass drum' head is specially muffled to produce a warm round tone and reduce unwanted resonance.

The unique side-shell percussion board allows for 'cascara' style rhythm techniques and is supplied in a matching finish. An accessory arm is also mounted on the side of the drum and can accommodate a cowbell and/or woodblock, a pair of closed hi-hats and a cymbal.

All the drums feature 7ply/7mm shells in birch and mahogany. And of course they're all mounted using the YESS Enhanced Sustain System for full unimpeded tone.

With or without the optional snare and tom the Club Jordan is an extremely flexible drum kit that can be set up in no time and played in the most constricted of spaces. After the gig it takes just a couple of minutes to pack up and you're free to relax.

What Do I Get For My Money

The Club Jordan is available as a Basic Set consisting of the large Cocktail Drum along with the FP810 foot pedal, percussion board and accessory arm.

The SD08CJ 8"x5" mini snare drum and the TT10CJ 10"x5" tom-tom are available as additional items allowing maximum scope for your expression and versatility.
