Sabian HH Remastered Now In

The new and exclusive Sabian HH Remastered cymbals now in stock!

Here at Rattle & Drum we are always striving to provide the very best of the latest gear, so when we were offered the opportunity to be one of only 6 UK dealers to have access to the new Sabian HH remastered range we jumped at the chance. Going back to their roots, Sabian have studied their own hand hammering legacy and applied this to the new cymbals; each cymbal can be hammered more than 3000 times before it is hit by a player! Using 100% hand hammering has resulted in wonderfully thin, complex and musical cymbals. We are proud to be have the full range in stock now, see the links at the bottom of the page for the individual cymbals. The full press release is included below for further information

SABIAN HH Remastered Announced!

When SABIAN was born in 1982, Hand-Hammered (HH) cymbals were where we started - these were the cymbals that made drummers all over the world fall in love with SABIAN. Now ... think about how a 30-year old classic album is remastered to bring it back to its vintage glory - to take it from the great to the sublime. In this same way, HH Remastered adds complexity and tone to each cymbal, delivering unmatched sonic texture across the entire line.

Drummers are falling in love with HH all over again! We took a handful of remastered HH cymbals to the recent Summer NAMM show in Nashville where we received overwhelming praise and very enthusiastic feedback from artists like Jim Riley, Chester Thompson, Mark Schulman and Alex Acuna - not to mention other artists who have had a sneak peek at the new HH like Dave Elitch, Stanton Moore and Mark Guiliana. They are all blown away by these incredible new Sabian HH Remastered cymbals.

Why does Sabian HH REmastered sound so good? Our Vault team has tapped deeply into our past by applying more Hand Hammering and working on all HH cymbal profiles. In fact, depending on size, each remastered HH cymbal can be hammered up to 3,000 times - in some cases more - before a drummer hits it once.

"Traditional Turkish hand hammering is more than just our history," explains SABIAN Master Sound Specialist Mark Love, "It's our DNA. We've been using traditional hand hammering techniques since day one, so as far as SABIAN is concerned, this is not a fad. It's who we are."

For all the drummers out there, this renewed focus on hand hammering means Sabian HH Remastered Crashes sound thinner and more musical, Rides are more traditional and complex, and Hats deliver faster responses and warmer tone.
