MEINL's new Soundcaster Custom cymbals take the outstanding features of the original Soundcasters, but have a more cutting, glassy, and warm tone to them. By adding a brilliant finish to the Soundcaster B12 bronze alloy, the rich full sound that the originals are known for is now given an enhanced element of sheen and vibrant purpose. All Soundcaster Custom cymbals are given a high-polished finish by a computer controlled polishing machine. They are repeatedly treated with special polishing sheets and paste. This results in a mirror like, shiny surface for a brighter, richer, and more brilliant sound, yet with a controlled amount of high frequencies.
