New HK Elements Now Available
Today we had a visit from the fine folks from HK to fit us out with their excellent new HK Elements PA systems. We are extremely privileged to be the first people in the UK to have them and we’ve been amazed by their quality and flexibility already.
The system is made up of a range of mix and match parts allowing you to customize and build the exact rig you want. To read more technical details about the rigs or to buy one please head across here

A Look Back On The Steve White Clinic
On Wednesday 12th May, we had the pleasure of putting on a drum clinic with Steve White in association with Mapex at The Venue in Derby. Tickets sales for the event were excellent and as the sound check was being completed a queue had already started to form outside!
It was a fantastic evening and great to see it so well attended by drummers and non drummers of all ages, coming down to take a look at this respected drummer. Steve not only played some virtuoso drum solos, but also talked about music history, offered practice tips, showed different techniques and played along to some well known tracks.
We were also extremely privileged to welcome bassist Damon Minchella to the evening for an impromptu duet with Steve. This was one of the first times Damon had played publicly since a potentially career ending accident, although you could never have told as the pair played a number of tracks that were all well received by the audience.
Steve was a pleasure to watch and spoke with great passion about drumming and this seemed to rub off on the crowd with some of the youngsters’ air drumming their way through his entire final piece!
The evening was completed with a small raffle with the first prize of one of the new Mapex Black Panther Snares going to a lucky young drummer, who seemed very happy with his prize!

We have just taken delivery of an absolute beauty! Fender have released a very special edition Jazz Bass to celebrate it's 50th Anniversary, limited to 500 worldwide, very few in the UK, this is the first and last we will be having in!
Taking ideas from all of the various stages of the Jazz's illustrious career, this is a brilliant amalgamation of everything that has made the Jazz great over the years. Awesome retro styling like the vintage pickup and bridge covers, vintage 75 pickups, to modern features like lightweight tuning pegs and graphite in the neck, what more could you want!!

Steve White Drum Clinic – Wednesday 12th of May
We are lucky enough to be able to welcome Steve White to Derby on Wednesday 12th of May 2010 for a drum clinic sponsored by Mapex. The show will be at The Venue on Abbey Street in Derby with doors opening at 7:30.
Steve White has been playing the drums for over 30 years and is most well known for his time with Paul Weller and The Style Council, but has also played for The Who, Ian Dury and Oasis, standing in for his brother Alan who was suffering from tendinitis.
All ages are welcome to come and learn a few tips and tricks from one of the UK’s great drummers. Not a drummer? With a good chance to ask questions, hear a few stories or simply listen to a talented musician in action this is still a great evening out.
