The MEINL patented Floatune Wood Djembes are modelled after the West African originals. They provide the typical traditional sounds yet equipped with modern technical innovations and features. A common drum known for its dynamic sounds and the most widely used African drum today.

The MEINL patented 12" x 24 1/4" Floatune Series Fiberglass Djembes are truly a sound alternative. Fiberglass has enormous strength and can produce slaps of outstanding transparency and immensely powerful bass tones.

These drums are available in two colour choices. Blue Sparkle & Red Sparkle.

Rope Tuned Wood Series

The MEINL 12" x 24 1/4" Rope Tune Wood Djembes are crafted with great attention to detail. They feature the traditional rope tuning system. A great sounding drum at an affordable price.

Made from Rubberwood and featuring True Skin Calf Heads, these drums are available in choice of three colours. African Brown, Natural & Super Natural.

Headliner Wood Series

Original African Style Rope Tuned Series

The MEINL Original African Style Rope Tuned Wood Djembes are carved from one solid piece of plantation grown Mahogany Wood. These high quality instruments are crafted with great attention to detail and provide an outstanding and voluminous sound.
