This cymbal is not a Zildjian

This cymbal is a Zyn ride cymbal probably dating back to the '70s or early '80s. It's a nice example of a cymbal from a company that didn't always make consistent sounding products. This one is quite heavy with a full sounding bell and a pronounced ping from the bow. A much better sounding cymbal than a similar priced brass cymbal would be new. It does have a very small nick on the edge but no sign of any cracking.

At some point the previous owner has painted a large Z on the cymbal presumably to try and pass it of as a more famous American brand!!!!
