After the Precision and the Jazz paved the way, the Stingray was the next stage of the bass guitar's evolution. Ahead of it's time, it was the first bass to feature active electronics along with a whole host of improvements in it's construction.

The Stingray is just as relevant today as it was way back then. One of the best basses money can buy, renowned as THE slapper's bass, but equally capable for a wide variety of musical styles thanks to it's advanced tone controls.

This model is the 5-string version, featuring 3 band EQ and 3 way pickup switching. Includes hard-case.
