The new Masters Custom MCX features the same quality Maple shells as its big-brother, the Masters Premium but with a reduced range of finishes and hardware options, "standard" Masters OptiMount, spurs, and floor tom bracket/legs, and steel tension rods.

The classic, natural sound of Masters MCX Maple can best be described by one word…resonant. These exclusively manufactured 6 ply 100% Maple shells produce the perfect blend of stunning attack, smooth mid-range and low end punch that has made Pearl drums so popular with top players in every style of music.

All shells are constructed using Pearls' exclusive SST Superior Shell Technology manufacturing process. Their goal is to create the best sounding drums and SST assures that all shells are perfect acoustic chambers for amazing sound.
